There is so much to say about current events, but there's also far more listening to be done.  Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, love and justice, even if enjoyed far too late.  The connection, the sense of purpose, the renewed sense of passion, it was all here at the steps of Los Angeles City Hall on June 19th, demanding change to the status quo, demanding that blacks lives be respected equally to white lives, demanding our voices be heard.  Thanks to everyone who organized this jubilee and thank you to speaker Ciera Foster and Black Lives Matter for the brilliant words.
