𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 (𝟭𝟬/𝟮𝟰/𝟭𝟱)

So sorry to see one of L.A. most iconic bridges go. The 6th Street Bridge is being torn down and retrofitted as part of the 6th Street Bridge - Sixth Street Viaduct. Tonight, the 6th Street Bridge Farewell Festival was beautiful evening that literally bridged two sides of Los Angeles into an evening of art, music, food, community, dancing, classic cars, fireworks and a daylong concert headlined by L.A.'s own band, War. Some of L.A.'s finest were out in effect, showing off the unique beauty that is East L.A. Looking forward to a newer, safer bridge in 2017.

W&S's annual Top 100 party in San Francisco, I ended up with some great shots of the evening. Thanks so much to Roy Schneider Jr for having me this year. Cheers!

ᔕIᑎG ᗯITᕼ ᕼᗩITI ᕼᗩITI Gᗩᒪᗩ ᗷEᑎEᖴIT (10/2/13)

I was asked to shoot a fundraising event coordinated by My Dutch Uncle Inc. at Grace Cathedral in October. The event helped raise money for the damaged Holy Trinity Music School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, which was destroyed during the devastating 2010 earthquake. The concert was hosted by Grammy Award Winning Singer Deborah Voight, with special guest Susan Graham and musical performances by Kiera Duffy, Jake Heggie, Laquita Mitchell, Nicholas Phan, Bishop Yvette Flunder, conductor Donato Cabrera, The Grace Cathedral Choir of Men & Boys, and Les Petits Chanteurs & La Chorale des Fillettes of Haiti's Holy Trinity Music School, plus hundreds of singers from various Bay Area youth choirs. After the performances, there was after-party and gala hosted by former San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown at the Crown Room of the Fairmont Hotel.

Thanks to Jory Sandusky and Shari Gonzales for having me again to shoot EC's annual fundraising gala and auction. Hosted at Delancey Street, the money from tonight's event goes directly to helping improve the Bay Area community through housing, employment, outreach, ministry, advocacy and other programs. Also, thanks to the Delancey Street staff for providing amazing service all night. Always a blast! Thanks again!!

Thanks again to the lovely Julie Harris at Grace Cathedral for having me to the latest installation and performance by New York-based artist Anne Patterson. The evening was filled with the full Grace Cathedral choir singing original works by the talented composer Paul Haas alongside Anne's awe-inspiring Ribbon Project and video works.
